In pursuit of happiness

This is a short filmed I happened to watched 16 years ago. I kept remembering this film until now to remind me not to lost on track in life. This film was a Academy-Award nominated animated short-film which tells the story of a lonely inventor, whose colorless existence is brightened only by dreams of the carefree bliss of his youth. By day, he is trapped in a dehumanizing job in a joyless world. But by night, he tinkers away on a visionary invention, desperate to translate his inspiration into something meaningful. When his invention is complete, it will change the way people see the world. But he will find that success comes at a high price, as it changes himself, as well.

Sometimes we tend to get lost in the journey to pursuit of happiness. We plan and execute plan with the aim of reaching happiness and sometimes we were too persistence in achieving milestone goal, forgetting why do we want to do it in the first place.

We take life for granted and we are living at the mercy of luck. Any unfortunate thing happened and we will be out of this world. To me, what is matter is those who is around you. Some people grieve for the one who left, because they did not spend enough time accompany them while they were around. For me, I would treasure what's around me than grieving what has been lost. A stone in hand is better than gem that has lost. 

Take a min to remember the recent tragic MH 370...

Sometimes we care too much of the little flaws of others and we forgot about the good of others. Is like little stone in the shoes, if you don't take it out you won't be able to walk far. If you ask any of the victim's family, they would not mind anything, and would do anything to have their family back.
